Házedlo - Balsa Birds (zelená)

The Balsa Birds hand glider (green) – a balsa glider

A light flying glider in balsa wood from the Balsa Birds series by Revell, in the green finish. The glider is put together quickly and is ready to fly – it is launched by hand and demonstrates the basic principles of flight vividly. Thanks to the low weight of balsa it can soar long and calmly when correctly balanced.

Use and building

• Simple assembly with no demanding tools, ideal as a first flying model.
• Balancing with the weight supplied for a stable, long glide.
• Launched by hand; it flies outdoors in open ground with no electronics.
• The balsa can be glued or strengthened a little if need be.

Who it is for

• For children, beginners and families as an entertaining introduction to flying.
• For school and club demonstrations of the principles of aerodynamics.
• For anyone looking for an undemanding flying model to take outdoors.

It is flown outdoors in calm air or a light wind, away from people, roads and obstacles.
