An upgrade set for the M3 Lee and Grant tanks is a set of turned barrels and fine parts for models of the American M3 medium tank in 1:35 scale.

This accessory set from the brand Eureka XXL refines models of the American M3 medium tank in both the Lee and the Grant form. Its basis is turned metal barrels for the main sponson gun and for the smaller turret weapon, and thin machine gun barrels, together with wire for tow cables and small cast and photo-etched parts. The set is cut for the MiniArt kits 35206, 35209 and 35217.
The M3 came about as a stopgap at a time when American industry did not yet know how to seat a large-caliber gun in a rotating turret. The main weapon therefore went into the right side of the hull and a weaker quick-firing gun ended up in the turret. The British asked for a turret of their own with a radio set, and their machines carried the name Grant, while the American form stayed with the designation Lee. The tall riveted giant proved itself mainly in North Africa, where it was for a long time the only type able to take on the German tanks at a greater distance.
A turned barrel is fitted onto a sanded-down pin in place of the plastic part; degrease it before gluing, otherwise the paint will not hold on the metal. Use super glue or a two-part resin. Soften the wire for the cables by drawing it carefully, so that it follows the mounts on the hull. Go over the metal surfaces with a base meant for metal before finishing them.
You will not find the tank itself in the package; these are purely upgrading parts.
