The Grumman A-6E Intruder is an American carrier-borne attack aircraft meant for use in all weather and at night. The crew consists of a pilot and a navigator seated side by side under a common canopy, the fuselage is short and massive, and the straight wing has folding tips for parking on the deck of a carrier. The designation TRAM belongs to the sensor turret under the nose, which holds an infrared camera and a laser; with it the aircraft found and hit a target accurately even in the dark.

The plan in the package shows where each piece belongs. The masks are shaped for a particular kit; which one the manufacturer has in mind is given in the instructions for the set, so go by the manufacturer's part number when ordering.
First wash the glazing and let it dry completely, so that the mask holds and no fingerprints are left under it. Stick it on before spraying and press the edges home carefully with a toothpick: it is precisely under an unpressed edge that paint creeps. Spray several light coats rather than one heavy one. As soon as the paint has dried to the touch, lift a corner of the mask with a sharp point and draw it off at an angle toward the edge.
For a modeler who is building the Intruder in 1:72 scale and wants crisp transitions of the frames without cutting them by hand. The package holds masking sheets according to the manufacturer's listing; the kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
