Eduard Big Sin 1:72 Bf-109G-10 Erla gathers several accessory sets for the Bf 109 built at the Erla plant in Leipzig into one box.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item from Eduard's Big Sin range brings several accessory sets together in a single package and is aimed at a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10 from the Erla works in Leipzig, in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft to glue together but the fittings that the builder puts into the model.
The late Gustavs were assembled by three large works and each of them left its own mark on the airframe. On machines from Erla the points at issue are above all the different treatment of the rear fuselage, the shape of the cowling panels and the details of the landing gear bays. Anyone building a specific machine from a period photograph has to watch these features, because the difference is clearly visible in profile and will not escape an experienced eye. That is exactly why the manufacturer offers a separate package for each plant.
The G-10 came about as an answer to the need to raise high-altitude performance quickly without disturbing the production lines. It combined the proven airframe with a DB 605 D series engine and supplementary MW 50 injection. Most of the machines ended up with units of the Defense of the Reich and with night fighters, who faced the raids of 1945.
The model itself, brushes and consumables are not in the package.
