A single character carrying the name The White Lady, prepared for 1:48 scale. It is made by Firma49, a Czech workshop specializing in accessories for modelers, which prints its goods on machines using light-cured resin. The fineness of the printing shows mainly on the hands and on the folds of the clothing.
A model of an aircraft or a vehicle has no human scale on its own. As soon as a figure stands beside it, the viewer grasps the real size of the machine at once and the eye gets a point to return to. A civilian character also breaks up the military monotony and suits an airfield apron, a space in front of a hangar, a village green or a model of an automobile. In 1:48 scale the figure comes out at about the size of a thumb, so it is still comfortable to work with.
Rid the casting of its supports, wash it and let it dry out properly. Then comes a thin primer, ideally from a spray can, because it covers the folds evenly.
