This is a precisely cut set of masks made of kabuki film (low-tack washi tape) in 1:48 scale. The set is NOT a model of the aircraft but an accessory that makes clean, crisp spraying of the cockpit frames and other transparent areas easier. The EXPERT level is the most comprehensive variant: it contains masks for the outer and the inner face of the glazing, masks for the color of the cockpit seals, and masking for the landing gear wheels and the navigation lights.

Use

• The film follows the shape of the frames, so there is no lengthy cutting out of tape.
• Transfer the masks onto clean glazing, press them down and work the edges firmly with a stick or tweezers.
• Spray thin coats so that paint does not creep under the edge of the mask.
• The inner masks let you spray the interior color of the frames and achieve a realistic look in the cockpit.

Who the set is for

For modelers building the Hawker Hurricane in the early Mk.I and Mk.IC versions and the antitank Mk.IID who want perfectly bounded cockpit frames with no paint bleed. Suitable for beginners still learning to mask as well.

The masks are a consumable accessory. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
