BASIC kabuki masks 1:48 for the Antonov An-2 and An-2CX (New Ware)

A precisely cut set of masks from kabuki film in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but an accessory for painting. The BASIC level covers the external masking of the extensive glazing of the cabin of this large single-engine biplane from the Hobby Boss kit, which is demanding to mask because of the number of windows. The masks follow the shape of the frames, so laborious cutting of tape is not needed.

Use

• Transfer the masks onto degreased glazing and press the edges down carefully.
• Cover the wide areas of glass between the frames with tape or liquid mask.
• Spray in thin coats to prevent paint creeping under.
• Take the masks off shortly after the paint has dried.

For modelers of the Soviet An-2 multipurpose biplane (and of the An-2CX version) who want to handle its extensive glazing without lengthy masking by hand. The BASIC level suits quick, clean masking of the cabin.
