1:72 Ju88 G-6 - interior 3D decals for Hasegawa kit

A 3D decal interior for the Junkers Ju 88G-6 (1:72, Kelik)

This is NOT a model but a colored relief decal (3D decal) for detailing the cockpit of the Hasegawa Ju 88G-6 plastic kit. It takes the place of laborious painting and of etched parts.

What a 3D decal is

It is a self-adhesive decal with raised, full-color detail: instrument panels, side consoles, switches, levers and belts. Once applied it looks three-dimensional and faithful in color, without your having to paint the individual gauges.

The real subject

The Ju 88G-6 was the night fighter version (Nachtjäger) of the proven German twin-engine aircraft from the end of the Second World War, fitted with radar and heavy cannon armament.

Use

• Clean the cockpit parts and even the base out lightly with a base coat
• Cut the parts out, dip them and transfer them like an ordinary decal
• Press the part down into the relief with a soft cotton swab and let it dry; check the use of a decal softener in the manufacturer's instructions
• Finally seal it with a matte clear coat
