Resin landing flaps for the twin-engine Andover in 1:144 scale replace the closed wing mechanization with its extended form.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin casting replaces the closed flaps on the wing of the small transport machine with their extended form. The model thereby gains the silhouette of an aircraft on approach to landing, which on an airfield scene and on a separately displayed piece alike is a clearly perceptible difference.
The British twin-engine turboprop aircraft came about in the 1950s as a replacement for older piston types on short routes and on little prepared strips. The military form, the Andover, received a modified rear part of the fuselage with a loading ramp and landing gear with which the tail could be lowered closer to the ground and loading thus made easier. The machines served with transport and calibration units and others flew in civil colors all over the world.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that they are rid of the remains of the mold release agent; otherwise primer will not hold on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc, never break them off. Sand wet and with protection of the airways. Secure the joints with superglue; ordinary plastic cement does not act on resin. Before fitting, check the thickness of the wing at the place of the cut.
The accessory is intended for modifying a model already acquired.
