A 3D puzzle of Buckingham Palace in London. The pieces assemble into a three-dimensional model of the building, which serves as a decoration.
Responsibility details are not available.
Buckingham Palace is the London residence of the British monarch and one of the best-known buildings in the United Kingdom. Its appearance is given by the long symmetrical frontage facing an open space with a monument, by the division into columns and by the balcony from which the royal family shows itself to the public on notable occasions. In front of the palace the changing of the guard takes place, which belongs to the regular program of visitors to the city.
It is a 3D puzzle: out of flat pieces a three-dimensional model of the building is gradually assembled. The finished whole suits a shelf, a display case or a desk as a reminder of a place you have been. The exact procedure, the order of the pieces and the recommended age are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Work on a flat surface and take the pieces out slowly, so as not to crease the thin joints. Keep to the order given in the instructions; with buildings the supporting part is assembled first and the frontage only afterwards, otherwise the whole will not hold its shape. Stand the finished model out of direct sunlight and away from damp, and dust it with a soft brush, not with a damp cloth.
The puzzle is for collectors of models of buildings, for lovers of London and for a shared afternoon with children, where it is more about assembling than about modeling craft. It is a puzzle to be assembled, not a finished model; paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
