Tie-down points are anchors set into a paved surface, to which an aircraft or a vehicle is lashed with ropes or chains so that it does not move in the wind or while the engine runs. You will meet them on the concrete aprons of airfields, in hangars and on the surfaces beside workshops. Only the eye itself protrudes from the surface, the rest of the anchor is hidden beneath it. The name specifies the version as the star type, that is one of the shapes in which tie-down points occur on paved surfaces.
The set brings scaled-down versions of these anchors in 1:32 scale, an element that does not get lost on its own in a scene, because at this scale it is already clearly visible on a surface. Choose the kind of glue according to the material of the parts and the exact procedure according to the manufacturer's instructions. In terms of color it is worth setting the metal apart from the surrounding concrete and giving it a hint of corrosion.
