Responsibility details are not available.
A small resin kit of the German V-2 ballistic missile (military designation A4) in the railway scale 1:120 (TT) from the Czech manufacturer Hauler. The finely cast resin kit, as a rule complemented by photo-etched parts, is intended for more experienced modelers. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; for the exact contents of the package follow the enclosed instructions.
The V-2, carried by the manufacturer as the A4, was the first long-range ballistic missile in the world to be used in combat. It was powered by a liquid-fuel rocket engine burning alcohol with liquid oxygen. From 1944 Germany launched it against cities in Western Europe. Despite its limited accuracy it was a technological milestone that markedly influenced the postwar development of rocket and space technology. The characteristic slender silhouette with four stabilizing fins is instantly recognizable to this day.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. Align the slender body of the rocket carefully so that it stands straight; adding a stand or a launch table of your own is ideal. Spray over a primer and do not forget the typical black and white tracking scheme of some examples; choose restrained weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
