1:72 Syrian Baggage (for tank) is a resin set of stowage, tarpaulins and mattresses of the kind that the crews of Syrian tanks hung on the hull.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collection of small resin castings that captures what crews wrapped their machines in during the Syrian conflict. According to the manufacturer the set holds baggage, tarpaulins and mattresses matching the equipment that Syrian units carried on hulls and turrets. It is exactly this hung-on clutter that turns a bare model into a vehicle that went somewhere and served for something.
In the civil war from 2011 the fighting was largely conducted among buildings, where tank crews stayed away from base for long weeks. Mattresses, rolled tarpaulins, drums and crates therefore traveled on the outer surfaces of the machine. Alongside the plain lack of room inside, this was also driven by the hope that a thick layer of material would deflect a shaped-charge round before it reached the armor. Improvised protection of this kind appeared throughout the whole conflict.
Try the arrangement out dry first and only then bond with cyanoacrylate. A little modeling putty will disguise the transition between the casting and the hull. Keep the stowage a different color from the machine, so that the surface does not dissolve into one gray. A final dusting with pigments pays off, as it unifies everything into a shared layer of dust.
The vehicle on which the stowage is to be placed should be obtained separately.
