Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks from SX-Art in 1:48 scale, intended for applying the national insignia and markings to a model of the historic Junkers F-13 transport aircraft. The masks are used instead of decals; the paint is sprayed straight onto the surface of the model, so that the result follows the texture of the skin perfectly and does not create a glossy carrier film the way classic decals do.
The Junkers F-13 of 1919 was one of the first all-metal transport aircraft in the world. Its corrugated duralumin skin, cantilever low wing and enclosed cabin for passengers made it a pioneer of scheduled civil air transport in the 1920s. It flew with dozens of companies all over the world and became a symbol of the beginnings of modern aviation.
Lift the mask carefully off the sheet, seat it precisely on the model and press it down. Apply the paint in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush, so that it does not run under the edges. Let the paint only set before you pull the mask off, so as to get sharp edges. For clean coverage we recommend a base in the color of the lower coat.
This is a mask set, not a paint or a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
