Responsibility details are not available.
A set of SX-Art self-adhesive paint masks in 1:48 scale for applying the national insignia and markings to a model of the Japanese Aichi M6A1 Seiran attack aircraft. The paint is sprayed through the mask directly onto the surface of the model and creates sharp edges with no glossy decal film.
The Aichi M6A1 Seiran was a Japanese attack floatplane from the end of the Second World War, designed to launch from the large I-400 class submarines. Folding wings allowed it to be stowed in the submarine's hangar; the machine was to carry out surprise strikes against distant targets. It practically never reached combat use and only a few examples survive, which makes it a sought-after subject for collectors.
Seat the mask carefully on the surface of the model and press the edges down so that paint cannot run in. Spray thinly with an airbrush and pull the mask off once the paint has set. The Japanese national markings, the hinomaru, come out best over a well covered light base.
This is a masking set, not a paint or a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
