The last numbered figures of this line come into being by the same technology as the rest of the range of the brand BlackSnake Model, that is by printing from resin with a very fine layer step. On a figure around five centimeters tall that means legible eye sockets, lips and fingers, which is exactly what the conviction of a small figure rests on. It is sold on its own.
In a scene with a vehicle a human figure fulfills two tasks. Firstly it gives the viewer an immediate scale, because everyone can judge the height of a person; an armored vehicle on its own may look like a toy. Secondly it sets the action, because the gaze and the turn of the shoulders tell whether all is calm or something is happening. Without a figure a diorama remains a mere parade of equipment.
Start with a medium skin tone, then add a glaze of brown into the hollows and bring the light out on the forehead, the nose and the cheekbones. In this scale do not draw the eyes as a white with an iris; a dark line set deeper into the shadow of the eyelid is enough. Anyone who dares can add a hint of cool gray to the face at the hairline, which ages the face at once.
