The bust 1:10 Ukrainian soldier 02 Bust is the second bust of the Ukrainian line of the brand BlackSnake Model, in resin and in 1:10 scale.

The second number of the Ukrainian line of busts aims at collectors who want a present-day subject worked out on a large scale. The French brand BlackSnake Model prints the piece from resin and puts the stress on the expression of the face and on the texture of the fabrics. You get the bust alone with no paint, ready for cleaning up and varnishing.
Today's infantry looks different from that of the twentieth century: a composite helmet with side rails, a plate carrier with modular pouches, gloves and a neck gaiter together form a silhouette that cannot be mistaken. The fabrics usually have a multicolor camouflage print with irregular blotches, on which both wear and dust can be shown beautifully.
First degrease the bust and spray it with a dark base coat, because that on its own creates the shadows in all the folds. Then build the camouflage pattern from the top down, from the base area to the blotches, and soften the finished fabric with a dry brush. Leave the metal buckles and the optics until the very end, so that the gloss does not contrast with the matte cloth too soon.
A plinth is not supplied, nor are cloth patches; obtain the paints separately.
