A set in 1:35 scale with the subject of an off-road motorcycle and members of special units. For a diorama with present-day equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set joins an off-road motocross motorcycle with members of special units in 1:35 scale. A light off-road machine is the exact opposite of an armored vehicle: it protects nobody, but it gets where heavy equipment cannot, and it makes little noise and leaves few tracks. In a scene a motorcycle with a small group of soldiers therefore tells a different story from a column of vehicles, and it suits everywhere a rapid move or reconnaissance is meant to show.
The package works with the theme of a motorcycle and soldiers of special units in 1:35 scale. A standing adult figure corresponds to roughly five centimeters in this scale, so the set fits in size with the other models of military equipment of the same scale. The exact contents, that is the number of figures and how many parts the individual items consist of, is stated in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remnant down carefully, so that the modeling of the folds and of the small parts is preserved. Wash and degrease everything before painting. The motorcycle and the figures are better painted separately and joined only at the end, otherwise you will not reach the machine under the figure. Muddy boots, knees and underside of the machine will do more for the scene than a perfectly clean coat of paint. Choose the kind of glue according to the material and the procedure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
The set is for modelers who are building a diorama with present-day equipment and are looking for something other than one more vehicle for it. It comes in as a standalone scene on a small area as well. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
