This is a sheet of wet (waterslide) decals in 1:43 scale that transfers onto the sidewalls of a model's tires the typical white chalk markings and marks that appear on Formula 1 and GT racing cars. The manufacturer is Decalcas. It is not a kit but a universal accessory that raises the realism of the wheels.
The sidewalls of racing tires tend to be written on by hand with white marks, numbers and abbreviations with which teams tell sets of tires, compounds and purpose apart (for example practice or race). It is exactly these small markings that give a model wheel the authenticity that plain black rubber lacks. The sheet contains a set of various white inscriptions and marks to be placed freely.
Apply the decals onto a clean tire surface; matte rubber is porous, so a thin coat of varnish under the decal and then a mild softener help the marking follow the rounded sidewall. Soak the part briefly, slide it into place and blot the excess water.
The set contains the decals and the instructions only; the model and the paints are not included in the package.
