A set of small parts imitating a fire extinguisher of the period make that the rally Lancia Stratos carried. It is rendered in 1:24 scale and contains two groups of parts of four pieces each, that is the extinguishers and the mountings that belong with them. It is not a kit but a detail accessory for the build.
The Lancia Stratos was the first car designed from the start as a rally special and not as a modified production car. The short wheelbase, the wedge-shaped bodywork and the transversely mounted six-cylinder engine made it a machine that in the mid-1970s won the manufacturers' world title three times in a row. The interior was bare and functional, so the fire extinguisher with its mounting is clearly visible in it and therefore belongs among the details worth finishing properly.
Cut the parts off with a new blade on a hard surface and work over a box. Paint the body of the extinguisher in a saturated color and distinguish the metal parts of the clamps with a metallic shade. The lettering on the extinguisher can be suggested with a fine brush, or with a piece of decal from your leftovers. Glue the mounting into the interior first and only then seat the extinguisher itself into it, otherwise the assembly is hard to line up. They are glued with super glue dosed with a pin.
