This is a set of fine 3D printed domed cap nuts complemented by a washer, in several graduated diameters from 0.5 to 1.25 mm. The manufacturer is Decalcas. It is not a kit but an accessory for advanced superdetailing with which you replace simplified or missing fasteners with faithful miniature nuts with a washer.
The combination of a nut and a washer looks even more convincing on a model than a nut on its own, because it imitates a real fastened joint exactly. It comes into its own on engines, chassis, frames and hardware where the joints are in view. The graduated sizes make it possible to choose the right dimension according to the scale and the particular place.
Separate the small parts with a sharp scalpel over a cutting mat and glue them with a spot of super glue (cyanoacrylate). Work with tweezers in good lighting; the elements can be painted before gluing or painted in place together with their surroundings.
The dimensions in millimeters state the size of the part; they are not the scale of a model. The set is supplied unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package.
