A publication from the Fast Guide line devoted to the racing Porsche 935/78 nicknamed Moby Dick. A photographic reference for modelers and for collectors.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Porsche 935/78 is among the most conspicuous racing cars of the 1970s. It came into being for Group 5, where the rules allowed little of the original road-going Porsche 911 to be kept and the rest to be rebuilt for speed. The result was an extremely low body with a stretched tail, flat fenders and a turbocharged flat-six engine. Its white color scheme and massive outline earned the machine the nickname Moby Dick, under which it is known even by those who cannot remember the type designation.
The Fast Guide line is intended for modelers who want to build from reality and not from an impression. It leads the builder to clarify the shapes, the division of the body and the placing of the details before gluing, because it is precisely on those that it shows with such an unusual car whether a model is right. It serves just as well as a reference for a build and as reading for a fan of the brand.
For modelers who are taking on racing Porsches and want the reference at hand, and for readers with an interest in the endurance racing of the 1970s. Check the extent, the language version and the form of the contents with the particular edition. This is a publication, so no kit, paints or decals are supplied with it, unless stated otherwise.
