The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was a two-seat carrier-borne fighter of the US Navy with its characteristic two engines and wings of variable sweep, which in flight were set automatically according to speed. The F-14A version was the basic production variant and for many years formed the backbone of the carrier fighter force. The VF-2 Bounty Hunters squadron was among the units that operated the Tomcat.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and sand the joints carefully, so that the fine engraving is preserved. If you want to keep the wings movable, watch the cleanliness of the pivot mechanisms and do not glue them up. Paint the interior of the cockpit before the fuselage is closed. After gloss clear coat and decals, accentuate the panel lines with a wash and add the wear typical of carrier operations.
