This is a scenic accessory for building dioramas and model railroads in 1:87 scale (HO). The set contains pre-printed and laser-cut sidewalk surfaces with a realistic square slab paving pattern and with modeled curbs typical of European towns. This is not a model kit but material for rendering streets, platforms and urban spaces.
The parts are cut out of the sheet, shortened to the dimension needed if necessary, and glued to the base of the diorama. The surface can be colored with acrylic or oil paints, the joints accentuated with a wash and the whole dusted with pigments for a faithful effect of worn paving. Suitable for urban scenes, stations and street views alike.
For a flat bond use PVA or cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and weight the surface down until it dries. Mask the transitions between the sidewalk and the roadway with filler or with pigment paste. The curbs come out well after a light dry brush in a lighter shade.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
