This is a double-sided masking set from the express fit range of the Czech maker Art Scale in 1:48 scale. The self-adhesive stencils are cut precisely to fit a model of the British SEPECAT Jaguar attack and tactical strike aircraft in the GR.1 and GR.1A versions and cover the outer and the inner side of the glazing. It is not a kit but a painting accessory. The target kit is the Airfix one.
The SEPECAT Jaguar was an Anglo-French supersonic attack and tactical strike aircraft. The GR.1 and GR.1A versions served with the Royal Air Force for attacks on ground targets and for reconnaissance; they proved themselves in low-level flight and carried a wide range of weapons.
The double-sided version lets the cockpit framing be masked from the outside and the inside, and the wheels along with it. Degrease the clear parts before applying, press the stencils down against the edges of the frames and spray in thin coats; take the mask off shortly after the paint has dried so that the transitions stay sharp.
The set contains masking stencils only. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
