A decal set in 1:48 scale for a model of the four-engined Consolidated B-24J Liberator bomber. An accessory for the build that gives the model its lettering and markings.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was one of the most numerous American heavy bombers of the Second World War. You can tell it at a glance by its slender wing carried high above the fuselage, its twin vertical tail surfaces and its nose landing gear. The B-24J version was built in the largest numbers of the whole family and flew over Europe and in the Pacific. A model of that span takes up a fair piece of shelf in 1:48 scale, and the markings on it play a large part.
This is a separate decal accessory for the modeler who wants to take his Liberator further than the equipment of the kit reaches. The particular list of motifs and of the aircraft the sheets belong to is given on the box and in the instructions supplied with it.
A decal set is supplied. The kit, the paints, the varnishes and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
