A needle spring case for the premium bodies of the Mobius line, a replacement part of the rear assembly.
Responsibility details are not available.
The premium Mobius line stands a step above the airbrushes for ordinary building in the brand's range and is built for fine graduated spraying. It is produced in variants with a very thin nozzle, which means that the action of the trigger and the accuracy of the needle's return play a greater role than on coarser machines. That is precisely why this line has the rear part of the body arranged differently and a replacement spring case for it is ordered separately.
It is a threaded cavity into which the spring pressing the needle forward is placed. It influences two things at once: the force needed to pull the trigger and the speed with which the needle returns into the nozzle once released. When the case has a damaged thread or is clogged inside, both go out of tune and fine transitions are far harder to spray. It therefore pays to look at precisely this part of the machine first when searching for the cause of an uneven trigger action.
Name and photograph the rear assembly at the first taking apart; small parts look similar once laid out on a table and are easily mixed up. Never screw the case in with the needle pushed forward under the pressure of the spring. It also pays not to touch this part of the machine after every spraying session: if you flush the airbrush from the inside after work, the rear assembly stays clean for long months, and less handling means less risk of damaging the thread. If the thread seizes all the same, do not force it round; a ruined airbrush body costs incomparably more than this small item.
