A small imitation of a bolt head with a washer, 0.8 mm in diameter, an accessory for detailing models of equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
A miniature element imitating a bolt head seated on a washer. The 0.8 mm diameter stated in the name is the smallest of the three sizes offered, so it suits places where a bolted joint should be apparent but should not overpower the surrounding detail. In 1:35 scale such a diameter corresponds to roughly 28 mm on a real machine, and in 1:48 scale to roughly 38 mm.
Most often where the original surface disappeared under abrasive paper after a gap was filled or a shape altered, and on surfaces where a kit merely suggests the detail. Typically these are flanges, armor plates, lids and hatches, light brackets or the attachment of tools on the sides of vehicles. The element is fitted one at a time, so you can lay the spacings out exactly according to a real subject, even where a photo-etched strip would not fit.
For builders of military and civilian equipment who finish off the detail after altering a model themselves. The model, the paints, the glue and the tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
