1:64 Bentley Flying Spur Monaco Yellow (Left-Hand Boxed)

Crewe and its fastest four-door

The third generation of the Flying Spur model has been built since 2019 on a platform shared with the group's large sedans and represents the fastest series four-door car of the British marque. The six-liter twelve-cylinder in a W with two turbochargers gives around 467 kW, the force goes to all the wheels and takes a limousine longer than five meters to two hundred seventy kilometers per hour.

A bold paint from the Mulliner workshop

Monaco Yellow is among the shades a customer chooses through the marque's personalization division. On a body as extensive as this it is an unusual choice, which underlines the drawn-out flank, the short rear overhang and the classic grille with its fine mesh. The high gloss of the paint comes out even after scaling down, because the surroundings are reflected in the flat part of the doors.

The workmanship of the miniature

The main casting is of metal, the window frames and the grille are plated, the glazing is clear and the interior has its own color and shaped seats. The multi-spoke wheels let the brake discs be seen, at the rear the oval exhaust tips are visible and the lighting is made up of separate clear parts.

Supply and storage

A finished piece is not finished off; it only has to be taken out of the insert and stood in a display case. The box with a window serves for long-term storage as well, if a collection grows faster than the room on a shelf. In color it is a car that works as a striking accent in a display case full of dark paints. A brilliant paint also forgives fewer inaccuracies, so it shows well how precisely the lines of the body are drawn.
