Flexible cable 1.00 mm in diameter, two meters long. The thicker version of the material for hoses and wiring on car and motorcycle models in scales from 1:6 to 1:24.
Responsibility details are not available.
On a real car not all the lines are the same thickness: alongside the thin cables running to the instruments, thick cooling, intake and fuel circuit hoses wind their way under the hood. If a single thickness is used for everything on a model, the engine bay loses its depth. This cable, 1.00 mm in diameter, is one of the thicker ones and suits exactly those hoses and the more prominent bundles of wiring.
The package holds two meters of cable and the manufacturer recommends it for scales from 1:6 to 1:24. Converted to full size, a diameter of 1.00 mm in 1:24 corresponds to roughly two and a half centimeters on the real car, in 1:12 to about one and a quarter centimeters and in 1:6 to some six millimeters. In the large scales it will therefore serve rather as ordinary wiring, while in 1:24 it already stands for a proper hose. Together with the thinner diameters of the same line you can easily grade the wiring on one model the way it is in reality.
Cut the end with a sharp blade at a right angle to the axis so that it is not squashed; a flattened end will not seat in the hole. Try the run dry first and measure it out including the curves. A thicker cable is harder to lead into tight bends, so allow for larger radii and, if need be, hold it gently at the bend until the glue takes hold. The ends are secured with a drop of super glue in a pre-drilled hole.
The model, glue, paints and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
