An add-on set, not a kit of an aircraft. It contains resin wire-spoked Palmer wheels of the 700x85 size in 1:32 scale from Art Scale. The faithfully rendered rim, spokes and tire replace the simplified wheels from the base kit and raise the realism of the landing gear considerably.
Palmer 700x85 tires were among the widespread types on British First World War aircraft. They were used on machines such as the Sopwith Camel, the Sopwith Pup and the Sopwith Snipe, which formed the backbone of the British fighter force of the day.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue and separate them from the casting blocks. Glue them with cyanoacrylate and protect your airways when sanding. Lay down a base coat before painting; the tires of period machines tend to be in light gray to beige shades, while the rims are often metal or painted.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
