A collector's figure of the fighter Kazuya Mishima from the Tekken fighting game series. A finished product meant for display.
Responsibility details are not available.
Kazuya Mishima stands at the birth of the whole Tekken story. He is the son of the founder of a powerful industrial conglomerate, and his relationship with his father forms the backbone of the plot across every installment: the family dispute here is not settled in court but in the tournament ring. That is exactly why Kazuya tends to be seen as an antihero rather than as a conventional heroic fighter.
The collector's piece captures the character in a fighting stance, that is at the moment most typical of the game subject. It is not a model to be assembled: you get a finished and fully colored object, one expected to go straight onto a shelf among the other pieces from the same world.
Figures of game characters are collected in pairs and groups, because only side by side do they tell the story the player knows from the game. With this series that holds doubly true: the duel of father and son is its main plot, and a case with only one of them feels incomplete. If you are planning a group of several pieces, leave room between them for turning the stances, so the arms do not overlap. A shelf with a glass front serves well too: collector's pieces of this kind gather dust on an open shelf within a few weeks, and the intricate surface is then hard to clean.
