A set of self-adhesive painting masks of kabuki paper (washi tape) in 1:72 scale from New Ware. The EXPERT range is the most complete version: it holds masks for the inside and the outside of the canopy hood, for the color of the frame sealing, for the remaining clear parts, for the navigation and landing lights, for the anti-glare and other dark surfaces and for the wheels. The masks are machine cut to the shape of the parts of the E-2C Hawkeye model.
The Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is an American carrier-based airborne early warning and control (AEW) aircraft. Its distinguishing marks are the large rotating disc radome carried above the fuselage and the pair of turboprop engines. For decades the E-2C version formed the backbone of the surveillance and control system of American aircraft carriers, and it served with other navies too.
Mask in layers: the interior of the frames, the sealing, then the final color. With the EXPERT set you can also finish the anti-glare panel ahead of the canopy and the colored frames of the lights without using decals. Place the small parts in this scale with tweezers and press them down with a toothpick. Take the masks off once the paint has dried.
This is a mask set, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
