MH models Mosquito PR Mk.XVI, an airbrush mask for the red and white rudder in 1:72, is a mask for spraying the striped marking of the rudder instead of using decals.
Responsibility details are not available.
A painting mask in 1:72 scale from MH models for spraying the red and white stripes of the rudder on a model of the de Havilland Mosquito reconnaissance aircraft in the PR Mk.XVI version. The stripes go on directly in paint with an airbrush, which gives crisp edges and an even layout with no risk of decal silvering on a broken surface.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British multirole aircraft of the Second World War famous for its wooden structure and high speed. The PR Mk.XVI version was a pressurized photo-reconnaissance variant intended for long-range photography at high altitude. The striking red and white striping of the rudder was one of the characteristic recognition markings of some machines.
First spray the light (white) base color over the area of the rudder, then place the stripe mask, press it down and spray over it in red. Once dry, take the mask off. Crisp, regular stripes come out this way with none of the trouble of getting a decal to sit on the leading edge of the rudder.
This is a painting mask, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
