About product

SBS Model 1:35 Sd.Kfz. 250 (Neu) / Sd.Kfz. 251 D, 3D printed armored visors

This is not a model of a vehicle but a detail set of 3D printed armored visors, the hinged covers of the observation slits, for the late versions of the German Sd.Kfz. 250 Neu and Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. D half-track carriers in 1:35 scale. 3D printing allows a fine and accurate part with a faithful armor thickness and crisp edges that plastic parts from a kit usually do not achieve.

Use

  • Cut the parts off the print supports and clean them up.
  • Replace the original plastic visors with these printed ones.
  • Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); the visors can also be fitted in the open position.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building a late Sd.Kfz. 250 or 251 in 1:35 scale.
  • Anyone wanting to raise the realism of the hull detail with faithful armored flaps.

The set contains only the 3D printed resin parts; the model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
