A detail accessory made by 3D printing in resin, not a model of a vehicle. The set holds finely made visors (observation flaps) of the German Sd.Kfz. 251 armored half-track carrier in the Ausf. D version. It replaces coarser plastic parts and gives the vehicle more faithful detail on the armored visor covers. The set is shaped for the 1:35 Sd.Kfz. 251 D kits from Dragon and AFV Club. It is made by SBS Model.

Fitting and use

• Check that your base kit is the 1:35 Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. D from Dragon or AFV Club.
• Separate the parts carefully from the print supports with a sharp scalpel, since 3D printed parts are small and fragile.
• Sand the remains of the supports back with fine sandpaper, with your airways protected.
• Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); cement for plastic does not hold on resin.
• The visors can be set in the closed or the slightly open position, depending on the scene you have in mind.
