Resin replacement wheels in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49 for the German VW Kuebelwagen light off-road car. This is the second variant (set.2) with balloon tires in an underinflated state and faithful flattening where they meet the ground. It is NOT a vehicle model; it is a detail accessory replacing the standard wheels from a kit.
The VW Type 82 Kuebelwagen was a German light multipurpose car of the Second World War, used on every front. Wider balloon tires were used in sand and soft ground, and for better grip they were sometimes run slightly underinflated.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, separate the casting blocks and fit them to the axles of the vehicle; glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The underinflated stance comes out best if you seat the wheels square to the surface. Paint the tires in dark rubber shades and bring them out with a dry brush and dust pigments.
Supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. The vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
