Acrylic cubes with a ten millimeter edge take on the role of a universal marker in a game. You can use them to mark a hit, a wound, ammunition, an order, an objective achieved or simply whatever no other marker was left for in the game at hand. Compared with paper tokens they have the advantage of not curling, not slipping in among the cards and not flying off when a hand is moved across the table.
The cubes are made of acrylic and are green, so they stand out from tokens of other colors at first glance and from right across the table. A ten millimeter edge matches the usual size of game markers: a cube fits comfortably on a figure base and into a square on a board, yet it can be picked up with the fingers without trouble.
In tabletop wargames where unit states are counted, in board games as a substitute for lost or awkward markers, and in figure gaming where a state has to be marked at a model without touching the model itself. They also serve as an aid during a build when you need to set small parts down in one place. A single-color pack makes sense too where players divide markers up by side and each one needs a color of their own.
Acrylic does not take kindly to rough dry wiping, and small scratches appear easily. It is enough to rinse the cubes in lukewarm water now and then and let them dry. The package holds tokens only; a game mat, figures and other equipment are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
