A paint remover in a 100 ml package. It softens dried paint on a model so that it can be removed and the area sprayed again.
Responsibility details are not available.
A botched coat of paint is the most common reason a half-built model is left lying. The remover lifts dried paint and breaks it up, so that it can be wiped or washed away and the bare surface returned to. It suits oversprayed parts, a coat that dried grainy, and rescued models from a swap meet, where a good foundation hides under an old layer. The package has a volume of 100 ml.
Work in a well-ventilated room and in gloves; apply the product with a brush or dip the part into a suitable container. Let it act for as long as the maker's instructions state, then wipe the layer off with a soft cloth or scrub it with an old brush. In deeper detail a toothpick will help, and on intricate surfaces a toothbrush. After the coat has been removed, wash the part thoroughly and let it dry, so that a residue of the product does not attack the next layer. Repeat the painting only onto a dry and degreased surface.
The compatibility with plastic and with the individual kinds of paint differs among products of this type, so test the effect first in a hidden place or on a scrap of plastic you do not need. Do not leave the part in the product longer than necessary, and keep an eye on small glued joints and clear parts. Store the container closed, out of the reach of children and away from open flame.
For modelers who want to put a botched coat of paint right and for builders who rework older models. The package holds 100 ml of the product; a brush, a container and gloves are not included, unless stated otherwise.
