These are flexible foam plugs (masking inserts) from the Omask brand that go into the wheel bays and openings of a Spitfire Mk.IX fighter model in 1:48 scale. They protect the inside of the bays from overspray and make it easier to paint the surrounding surfaces cleanly. It is not a model or a photo-etched part but an aid for painting.
