Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German carrier-borne torpedo and bomber biplane in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker AZ model. This is the Premium edition, rounded out with masks for the transparencies and offering decals for three variants of markings in Luftwaffe colors. The package holds a detailed cockpit with a pair of seats; take the exact number of parts from the instructions in the box.
The Fieseler Fi 167 was a single-engine biplane developed as a carrier-borne torpedo and bomber aircraft for the never-completed German aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin. Only a few machines of the Fi 167A-0 zero series came about. The aircraft had fixed landing gear, excellent slow-flight characteristics and the ability to descend almost vertically. Because the building of the aircraft carrier stalled, most of the machines ended up in another role and some were later handed over abroad.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. With a biplane, count on rigging (the bracing and the wires between the wings) and on careful seating of the struts, so that the model stands straight. Finish the cockpit before closing the fuselage, and cover the transparencies with the masks supplied. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal. Finally bring the textures out with fine washes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
