A storage stand for modeling tools, the variant designated by the letter C. It deals with the situation where blades, drills and tweezers lie around the bench and looking for one particular piece takes more time than the work itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
A scalpel laid down flat will sooner or later roll over the edge of the bench. Tweezers hide under a cut-off sprue, a drill falls between the box and the lamp, and a fine point bends against anything hard lying beside it. None of that is a catastrophe, but it repeats itself every evening and in total it takes a fairly decent piece out of the time you wanted to devote to the model.
The organizer holds the tools in positions into which they are inserted end down or point up according to their shape. Every piece thus has a permanent place and after a few sittings the hand finds it without looking. The letter in the designation tells the individual renditions of the same line apart, which differ from one another in the layout and the number of places.
This is not an item one would obtain first. The tools themselves and some kit to use them on come up before it. Only when it becomes apparent how many pieces are swapped around during the work does it make sense to deal with where they will wait between the individual operations.
Tidiness on the table is a habit that is acquired more easily when every tool has somewhere to belong.
