An add-on detail set from FineMolds in 1:700 scale. It holds fine castings of the launch canisters of anti-ship guided missiles and of surface torpedo tube mounts for models of modern warships. It serves to refine the armament and is not a stand-alone ship model.
Modern warships carry anti-ship guided missiles in angled launch canisters on deck and triple torpedo tube mounts for anti-submarine torpedoes. This armament is typical of frigates, destroyers and other surface vessels of present-day navies. The set makes it possible to render them faithfully on a model.
Separate the castings from the casting blocks, wash them free of mold release agent and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Place the canisters and the torpedo tube mounts according to the layout of the particular ship. We recommend a primer and painting with an airbrush in the gray shades of present-day vessels.
This is an add-on armament set, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
