The plastic set from the manufacturer Trumpeter contains several pieces of the Su-33UB aircraft in 1:700 scale. It is not a stand-alone airplane model, but rather an accessory for populating models of aircraft carriers and ships in the same scale. The parts tend to be molded in clear plastic. Glue, paints and the target ship model are not included in the package.
The Su-33UB is the two-seat version of the Su-33 carrier fighter with the seats placed side by side. It stems from the Su-27 family and is adapted to operations from the deck of an aircraft carrier, including folding wings and an arrestor hook. Among other things it served as a test and training machine of Russian Naval Aviation.
Given the small dimensions, separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean them up carefully. Glue with thin cement for plastic or with super glue. Painting is possible with a brush as well as with an airbrush, ideally the base first, then the details and markings. The finished machines are seated on the deck of the ship model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
