Responsibility details are not available.
Self-adhesive templates with pre-cut outlines of the deck areas for a model of the battleship USS Missouri in 1:700 scale. Cut for the particular Tamiya 31613 kit, so please check the match before buying. The accessory replaces no part of a kit; it only makes painting it easier.
In 1:700 scale some cut-outs are smaller than a fingernail and the main risk lies not in the spraying itself but in the handling. It pays to work on a light surface where you can see dark film, and to have curved tweezers with fine tips at hand. Never put a peeled-off part down on your finger or on the table, as the adhesive side will pick up dust in a moment and then will not sit down with it. It is practical to raise a corner of a template with the tip of a scalpel and carry it straight from the backing sheet onto the model.
Count on a single use, as the tack drops once it has been removed and the thin outlines deform. Store the rest of the sheet flat, away from heat and direct light, so that the adhesive does not age. Let the paint under the mask mature, with acrylics rather a day longer than you would like. Once the template is off, unify the deck with a matte clear coat, which at the same time prepares the surface for any wash into the recesses. Any adhesive residue that clings is taken off with a slightly moistened cotton swab, and never with an aggressive thinner.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The kit, paints and glues are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
