An injection-molded plastic kit of the German 37 mm Pak 36 anti-tank gun in 1:72 scale from MAC Distribution. The package holds plastic parts; the model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The 3.7 cm Pak 36 was the standard German anti-tank gun at the start of the Second World War. It was light, easy to handle and could be moved by its crew, but against more heavily armored tanks its effect gradually fell away. Even so it stayed in service throughout the war and was fielded on a number of fronts.
Cut the small parts of the gun, the mount and the shield off carefully and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; take care to seat the spreading trail arms of the mount and the elevation mechanism correctly. The look will benefit from a base coat with an airbrush, detail picked out with a wash and light weathering with pigments. The model also suits a diorama as an accessory.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
