This is an injection-molded plastic kit of the German 7.5 cm le.IG 18 light infantry gun in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer First to Fight. The model belongs to a range of quickly built kits of military equipment and is suitable for bringing dioramas to life as well.
The 7.5 cm le.IG 18 was a German light infantry gun of 75 mm caliber which in the Second World War served for direct fire support of the infantry. It was light, easy for the crew to handle and widespread throughout the war. It was produced in versions with various types of wheels.
The small parts of the gun carriage and the gun shield are glued to the plastic with liquid modeling cement after careful cleaning up. The model stands out once the base color has been sprayed on, the detail brought out with a wash and dust and mud effects added with pigments. For a faithful setting in the terrain the wheels and the lower areas can be dusted.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
