CMK 1:72 A-20/DB-7C Boston RAAF Crew is a resin set of figures of an Australian aircrew for completing aircraft models and dioramas in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft model but a set of resin figures. The set represents two members of an Australian aircrew (RAAF) in typical flight suits beside an A-20/DB-7C Boston, one standing on the fuselage and the other climbing into the aircraft. The figures serve to bring a finished model or a diorama to life and give the scene a sense of scale and a human dimension.
The Douglas A-20/DB-7C Boston was a twin-engine light bomber and attack aircraft of the Second World War period. With the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) it operated above all in the Pacific theater. The figures capture the period flying gear of the crew.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand them with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; washes and drybrushing work well for realistically bringing out the folds of the clothing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
