This is a resin detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The set contains covers for the air intake and the exhaust nozzle (so-called FOD covers), which on real machines are fitted to parked aircraft to stop foreign objects from getting into the engine. On a model they give a scene the realistic look of a machine at rest.
The covers are fitted to the intake and the nozzle of an A-4 Skyhawk model in 1:72 scale. The crisply cast parts faithfully capture the shape and the fabric or plastic construction of the real covers, including the streamers and the REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT lettering that usually go with them.
First wash any remaining mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and line them up on the model. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand the resin with respiratory protection. A primer is recommended before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
