Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The cockpit is usually painted dark gray, and the instrument panels are brought out with a wash and a dry brush. Extra decals or photo-etched parts for the instruments add realism. Protect your airways while sanding.
